Amazing. Made me tear up. He'd do that, too.

Too many perfect lines to count. And the last one added that funny twist to it.

Him examining his million freckles was pretty funny too, but...

Poor Ron! Poor Harry!

I was really worried there for a second. *sigh*

Omg, kaalee...

It's not often that I enjoy a fic that's solely plot, but this was absolutely perfect!

I love how single-mindedly devoted Ron is, how he doesn't even hesitate for a second to think about the consequences before doing what he has to to protect Harry.

Your Ron is so perfectly canon.

Just... completely brilliant. All of it.

omg. *tears up* This story was hard to write -- I was so, so worried that without his memory, I wouldn't be able to make him really *feel* like Ron, y'know? So to hear that it really did makes me so so SO happy.

Thank you so much, omg. ♥

Oh, I really enjoyed this -- not just the lengths to which Ron is willing to go to protect Harry, but the bits of clarity emerging through the confusion, how Ron re-builds who he is and what's important to him through the course of trying to figure out who he is and what he's doing there with a sword, a stick, and all those freckles. Great job!

Oh, this is so my kind of story! I love the sparseness of it, and opening on a mystery like that will always have me hooked. But it didn't read as gimmicky - Ron's confusion and slow journey were so well mapped that he takes the reader right along with him, trying to figure out what happened to him. The touches of humour throughout were so great, too, so Ron. I loved when Hermione's voice came through for him for that brief moment, and when his magic finally shot out unintended. A pillow! :D And of course the Harry bits were lovely. You always have such a way with words, I'm finding, in painting the most erotic, sensual scenes with a PG-13ish rating. I'm really in awe of how you manage that.

♥ Thanks for the pointy! I really enjoyed this.

I'm really glad you enjoyed this! You know I was saying to a friend around the time of this fest that I wasn't quite sure what possessed me to write a story stripping Ron of his memory in a fest that was supposed to be about Ron. I was terrified that he was not going to feel like Ron or be recognizable without some of the more comfortable things to rely on.

And thank you for the lovely compliment! You know, it's funny how I tend to stay away from some of the higher ratings with stories, when I write quite explicitly in role play. Who knows why. heh.

Thank you, thank you -- I'm really glad you enjoyed!

Very sweet!!! In my mind I kept saying over and over again, "Oh, Ron." Hehe, which means you nailed him perfectly. Well done!

Great story! Very cleverly done. I loved how everything fell into place gradually to finally go back to the beginning. And your Ron was perfectly himself even when he had forgotten it.

I'm so glad you enjoyed Ron so well in this -- I'd been quite worried he wouldn't come through. Thank you! ♥
